Why we built Luxury Property Barcelona
Luxury Property Barcelona was founded on a simple observation: foreign buyers in Barcelona were consistently overpaying, buying the wrong properties, and navigating a legal system that was never designed with them in mind. The traditional real estate agencies are not the solution — they are part of the problem, representing sellers while appearing to help buyers.
We built a different kind of service. One that works exclusively for the buyer, from the first property search to the final renovation handover to the curated decoration. Our team combines an Industrial Engineering background — which gives us the technical rigour to assess properties, manage contractors, and control renovation budgets — with an in-house Architect who holds full AICAT registration and brings design expertise to every project.
Most of our clients are buying from abroad — from the US, the UK, Germany, the Middle East, and beyond. They are purchasing a primary residence, a second home, or an investment property. They are busy, they have done their research, and they need someone they can trust completely on the ground in Barcelona. That is the gap we fill.

Mehdi Naim
Born in Dijon and based in Barcelona for the past twelve years, Mehdi brings an industrial engineer's rigour to every mandate. He has managed multiple full-scale renovation projects across the city — from permit to handover — and has guided clients through every stage of the acquisition process: property search, visits, NIE, financing, legal coordination, and remodelling.
What he offers is not a transaction service. It is the kind of local knowledge and technical judgment that only comes from having done this many times, in this city, for clients who needed to trust someone completely.
Manuel Carmena Zazo
Born in Madrid and now based in Barcelona, Manuel developed his career in Germany before returning to the Iberian Peninsula. He brings an architect's vision and a strong sense of dedication to every client and every project.
He has been involved in numerous international projects, including luxury residences and high-end hotels such as the Waldorf Astoria in Miami. His approach is to guide clients in understanding their own needs — proposing tailored ideas and solutions that combine a global perspective with a deep sensitivity to the local context.
